Sour Cherry Crumble - Single Serve Dessert


Crumble:
1/4 c flour
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs butter or margarine
1 tsp water

Filling:
1 c fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
1 tbs sugar
dash lemon juice
pinch cardamom


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine the filling ingredients in an oven-safe dish and mix thoroughly to coat.
Combine the crumble ingredients to make thick, a crumbly mixture (or a thick paste is acceptable.) Pat this down over the cherry filling.
Bake in the over for 20 minutes, or until topping is gently browned.
