Vintage Pear and Ginger Salad

Check out this past cooking experiment of mine over at Vintage Cookbook Trials -- Pears Frozen in Ginger Ale. It was a lovely-looking salad though a little bland in taste. I think I will be testing out some variant versions of this once the weather warms up a little here in Scotland!
