Pie Crust for 1

Pie crust is easy. There are pretty much only two ingredients in it. Those are: fat and flour. Here's how to make 1 serving of pie crust:

1 1/2 tbs salted butter, cold
3 tbs flour

Chop up the butter into small cubes, and using your hands mix it up with the flour. If needed, you can add more flour or more butter by the teaspoon to get an appropriate consistency of dough. When it is ready, roll it out on a floured surface and use it however it needs to be used.

If you need to make a pie with a lid (which in the UK, is the definition of a pie as opposed to a tart) then you double this recipe, split the dough in half, and roll out two pieces.
