Single Serving Homemade Oriental Sausage Stew Recipe


If I were to make this again, I would dice up the vegetables and meat more finely in order to be certain of getting a mixture of both in every spoonful.

1/4 c tomato ketchup
6 oz water
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp Thai 7 Spice mix
dash ginger powder
3 dashes pepper
pinch salt
3/4 cup any sweet root vegetables -- carrots, sweet potato, swede, &c. -- pre-cooked.
2 or 3 cooked sausage links, sliced

Combine ketchup, water and spices in a small saucepan, and add the vegetables: bring to a boil, and reduce heat. Cover and let simmer till vegetables are tender. Add the sausage and let the soup cook for 5 more minutes.
